Located in the centre of Chianti Classico near the town of Greve-in-Chianti. This historic estate has been home to the Counts Capponi since 1524, and is maintained by Sebastiano Capponi and his brother Niccolo. In 1992, Count Sebastiano Capponi became the first in the history of the family to manage the winery personally, giving a new life to the vineyards and the cellar. The family owns 200 hectares of land planted with olive trees, vines and pine trees. Organic farming is the standard at Villa Calcinaia with 75 acres. Through every vintage, the wines are crafted with food in mind. They are balanced, elegant and savoury with intensity that ensures longevity.
A boutique winery located in the picturesque countryside of Montefiore dell’Aso in the region of Le Marche, Italy. In 2003, Francesco and Marisa Bellini purchased an abandoned “antique cantina” with over thirty hectares of vineyards along with six hectares of olive groves. The idea of producing their own “Organic Wine” in the region where they were born was to realize a dream. The new state-of-the-art winery was built and inaugurated in 2010. The estate is located far from urban centers where the air is pure and fresh. Hidden away somewhere amidst the coastal plains of the Adriatic Sea and the Sibillini Mountains; it offers an ideal climate for sustainable agriculture not to mention breathtaking views.
Azienda Agricola II Poggiolo was born in 1971 thanks to the passion of my father Roberto Cosimi.
Rudy Cosimi carries in his genes the whimsical vein typical of his family.
The history of Poggiolo, where Brunello di Montalcino is produced, began exactly 50 years ago.
An impressive 65 hectares just 1 km southwest of Montalcino. I proudly carry on his work trying to create an artisanal product more and more refined and pleasant. I am sure Montalcino's wine lovers will love it.
From the vineyards of Serralunga d’Alba to the cultivated valleys of Alba.
From the breathtaking view of La Morra to the hills weathered by the sea breeze in Cremolino.
Our winery lives in the diversity of the landscapes in which it is rooted, in the many histories and traditions that only the hills of the Langhe and Monferrato know how to express.
We are a dynamic company in continuous evolution, representing the best of every zone
Tenimenti Civa winery is located in the eastern hills of Friuli, in Bellazoia di Povoletto, in the province of Udine.
In this strip of land, in Ravosa, Manzano and San Giovanni al Natisone we carry on an ambitious production project dedicated to autochthonous vines: Ribolla Gialla - our flagship -, Friulano (once Tocai), Refosco dal peduncolo rosso and Schioppettino.
Besides these varieties we also cultivate Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Glera, Cabernet and Merlot.
Home to twelve hectares of land where the grapes are grown on the rolling hills of Valpolicella Classica at an average height of 812 feet above sea level. The vines face south-west on terraces held up by stony walls called “marogne” and are supported by “simple” and “double” pergolas. The soil is light, chalky and full of stones. Venturini produces wine using exclusively their own grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara. By making wine with these grapes, they are able to create their high quality wines certified “DOC”
Luca Menicucci has always strongly believed in his territory - Tuscany!
The production of the important Tuscan DOC, in the protection of their identity and uniqueness, is primarily a passion as well as my daily goal. Our wines bring the elegance and austerity of the Sangiovese grape, expertly married to the more full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The Chianti in its DOCG, DOCG Classic and DOCG Classic Reserve represent my historical production together with the Governo all’Uso Toscano. We then expanded by adding four Tuscan Rossi IGT including the Super Tuscan Solo.
A separate note is dedicated to Vin Santo Occhio di Pernice, a very noble sweet wine produced with Sangiovese grapes in purity. The long aging in oak enhances the high quality giving this special nectar authentic and inimitable notes.
Now it is our time, we are mothers of thee awesome children, , living a very different life. We inherited it from who lived before us and we will give it to the ones that will outlive us with our contribution: a brand owned by our family that produces excellent wines, respecting the environment and enhancing our territory.
It is in Pescara province, in Catignano and Civitaquana area. The micro climate is characterized by strong temperature change between day and night, that gives unique characteristics to grapes, that will turn in wines of varietal character. This is the key point of our vineyards. 700.000m2 of vineyards: one of the biggest private ones in Abruzzo, located between 350 and 450 meters above sea level.
Longtime experience, great determination and heartfelt respect for the territory: the Possente winery interprets in the best possible way the natural wine vocation of the territory of Trapani, giving life to red wines full of intense flavor and white wines with authentic taste. Indigenous and international grape varieties in which the thousand-year-old knowledge of the local vinegrowers, traditionally handed down from father to son, is reflected in the passion, the talent, and the expertise that the Possente family has been putting in the wine production for years. Working the soil with passion, trying to capture in the wine those scents, colors and tastes that one can smell, see and feel. From the combination of indigenous grape varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Catarratto, and Grillo with international grape varieties like Syrah and Cabernet the Possente wines are created. Time seems to be suspended among the vineyards in Alcamo and Salaparuta, where history, culture and wine tradition are intertwined, making this territory and its wines unique.
The Villa Folini brand today is associated with a young and dynamic company and yet the Scolaris family has been producing wine since 1924. Giovanni Scolaris founded his company in that year, immediately realizing the potential of this precious territory: the Collio.
An area enclosed between the Julian Pre-Alps mitigated by the Adriatic Sea. Today Marco, the founder's grandson, has transformed his grandfather's vocation into a reality that has expanded on the national and international market.
The unmistakable black and white line, which stylizes the geological line of the gentle and mild Collio hills, is a distinctive sign of the company's evolution and is printed on each label.
In its historical journey of almost a century, Scolaris has been able to make the authenticity of its wine, the simplicity and refinement of its brand, and the professional seriousness of the winemaker.
Located in the center of the appellation D.O. Ribera del Jucar. The estate consists of 100 hectares of excellent vineyards.
The soils are mostly clay and calcareous, covered with small, soft, rounded river boulders, that help retain water and maintain regularity during the draught season in our dry, Continental climate.
We like to maintain and respect the grape varietal tradition of our region by growing Tempranillo, Bobal and Moscatel de Grano Menudo (Petit Grain Muscat); we also grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc vines.
A small, family winery located in Ribera del Duero, Pedro Cabestrero, the main winemaker, was trained in Burgos, Madrid and France.
At Bodegas Lambuena we are very interested in preserving old vineyards with the quality characteristics of the Ribera del Duero. These vines were planted on land that was difficult to access for people and machinery, in soils that were not very fertile for other crops, in sandy and poor soils. This makes the roots of the vines reach very deep levels looking for food, quartz, lime plates, clay. This effort made by the vine makes the plant obtain its best results and it makes our wines unique.
More than 250 years of wine growing tradition at Penedès, located at the Central Valley, in the town of LA GRANADA. The area favorably influenes our microclimate and reduces the influence of the sea's humidity.
It is an open valley with a gentle slope from the impressive and exceptional rocky massif of Montserrat to its opening to the sea, made up of countless hills and small hills shaped by the influence and passage of the hydrographic basins of the rivers Anoia and Foix, from which this cava subzone takes its name. The subzone can grow vines from sea level up to 800 meters high and is very rich in microclimates and terroirs.
"Think how beautiful it could be if everyone could feel and be able to love and experience whisky as you taught me. Anyone deserves this opportunity." Federico
We believe that whisky, like many other excellences, manages to express all the magic it has inside it, if it is lived rather than analyzed.
Our dream is to offer anyone who has the desire and the opportunity to discover and learn about an extraordinary product such as a Scotch Whisky in the most natural way, simplify the choice and purchase and finally bring it to the role it deserves.
